Chatterino is a desktop chat client for Twitch users who want an enhanced, customizable chat experience. It’s especially popular with moderators and streamers who want something cleaner and faster than the default Twitch web chat.

How to Install Chatterino​

  1. Go to 🔗chatterino 7 Github.
    • Click on the red box 🔗View Photo to download on windows.
  2. Choose your OS (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
  3. Download the latest release and run the installer or unzip the folder.
  4. Open Chatterino and log in with your Twitch account.

All set to go!

  • Optional: Use 🔗my settings for themes, font, and emote tweaks.

Drawbacks​

Chatterino does have its limitations as it is a 3rd party application:

  • No Pins
  • No Predictions
  • No Polls

Twitch has expressed interest in making these functions work with 3rd party apps in the future so we are hoping this will change soon!
